It uses a compact system control panel with a hide-away black box for excellent installation flexibility. The hi-res color display shows all playback data including album cover artwork. It also includes a 6-Ch 31-band EQ, X-Over, and Digital Time Correction.
The Alpine Status system features many technologies, components, and materials of the AlpineF#1Status system to achieve ultra high-precision music reproduction - at an affordable price tag. High-Res Audio playback of 192kHz / 24bit allows Alpine Status to create a heightened listening experience in the vehicle that emulates the feeling of an intimate recording studio session.
The Alpine Status system is designed to process and playback Hi-Res Audio files at 192kHz/24bit- which is the current industry standard for purchasing and streaming Hi-Res music. You can connect audio sources via 3x USB ports or stream music wireless to your HDS-990 Head Unit.
This Head Unit features high-performance RCA outputs, an optical TOSLINK port as well as 4x 25 Watts hi-resolution amplified speaker output options for wide system building flexibility.
